“Yeah, busy, you know. Like you have something to do and I keep you from doing it.” Scott shrugged and took two more steps back because he was still to close to Isaac for his neck not to hurt.
Scott sighed, feeling a little bit awkward and looked down to his palms a few times. “So…” he started, but his voice faded away, not knowing how to say it without it sounding strange. “Would you like to come to my house? I have a few video games and some soda in the fridge and we could have some fun. I know it must be hard for you now that Erica and Boyd left the town and you’re forced to endure Derek’s grumpiness.” A chuckled escaped Scott’s mouth as he patted the werewolf on his forearm. Apparently his shoulder was too high and too far.
Isaac raised an eyebrow at Scott, shaking his head shortly. What was he supposed to be doing the whole day? He never really had the… possibility to do what he wanted. While his father had still been alive there was nothing he could do that he would approve of. Besides of Lacrosse. Of course, Isaac had taken every moment he could get to be out of the house, working at the cemetry or taking walks through the nearby woods, shying away from other people.
Now, with the pack and being a werewolve had brought back his feeling of belonging to something. That didn’t mean though, that he had a lot to do. Derek and him hadn’t really talked after the last fight and the alpha had been kind of focused on… somehow abandoning everything to a later time. What meant as much as just vanishing and returning without a word days later.
Looking back at the dark-haired guy infront of him at his suggestion, he really didn’t know what to say. He tried to bite down the small-grin at the remark about Derek.
“He’s not that bad all the time…”
Ignoring his inner-flinch at the touch to his forearm, he settled his body-heigth on his other feet, unsure what to say about the invitation.
You’re right. I’ll make sure she’s happy, not only because I want my head attached to my body, but also because I want her to be happy. -chuckles- It’s so weird to talk to you about these things.
Well, that’s good for you then?
-gives him a shy smile- oh yeah…
Things are good, thank you for asking. You know, I’m still not sure if her dad is going to kill me or not. -shrugs-
I don’t think you will ever really know that. But I think he wants Allison to be happy so as long as she is that, it will work out I guess…?
